why in god's name would you want to

a pre 99 4.6 is a dog and will take alot of money to make it fast.

you are better off putting a blower on your V6. you'll make alot more power prochargeing the V6 than swapping in the 4.6 for about the same money as swapping in a V8

plus you must notify your insurance company that you installed a v8 in place of the V6 so they can increase your premiums accordingly. failure to do so is insurance fraud and at the very least they will not cover damages in an accident and the worst will nail you to the cross for fraud

BTW welcome to the site

I did it with an 04 v8. Very recently too, from a E-bay bought motor I paid 1,300 for. Let me tell you, its a pain in the @ss. Kinda like death by 1,000 cuts....little things that add up. Parts you forget or dont realise arent compatible, that adds up FAST! All in all, It set me back $6,300. Im not trying to talk you out of it, just letting you know what your up against.
