Default shift kit

has anybody here installed the transgo shift kit? does it really help or is it just a waste of nearly $200?

What exactly is this shift kit? I've been reading about them, and they seem cool, but I don't think I quite understand what it is? If you have an automatic car is it like making it a manual without the clutch, cause that's what someone told me. But does it have throws and the H-pattern to the shifts.

Sorry if I sound like a n00b.

yeah somebody told me a while ago that it almost makes the car like a semi-automatic if you will... almost like the padels on the steering wheel where you have to shift but there is no clutch.

your correct theres no shifting involved it just stiffens up and makes ...cleaner /crisper...shifts if you will. If you have questions you should pm jefferson he has a transgo shift kit and loves it. got it off ebay also, but i believe they sell it on summitracing.com and id trust summit over ebay!!
