engine smells..

Default engine smells..

i let my friend drive my mustang tonight and apparently he burned out in it and when i went to go get in it, it kind of smells like burnt rubber i thought it was the tires but like i popped the hood and it smellslike its from under the hood maybe..and idea what this might be?

Nothing wrong with it. He just burned an assload of rubber. Look at your rear tires..they're probably almost gone. Look for rubber on your rear bumper cover. I know from experience. My car smelled like rubber inside for about a week. Put on a nice smoke show though..even though it is a 6'er. The tires were old. I couldn't see anything.

maybe he was doing a little bit more that hes not telling you, give a better detail of the problem, any sounds, smoke, etc etc

Sounds like it could be the problem said there was quite of bit of smoke..im pretty sure i told him not to do it too bc the back tires are pretty low and i need to rotate them and i didnt want to hurt my clutch..even though they are piece of **** tires i still needed them to last a bit longer..but thanks.. i think that is the problem.
