Electrical problem -help?!?
Hi all, I have a 98 Mustang 3.8 and last week it started giving me intermittent problems with the charging system. At first, it would clear up if the car was restarted, but now it's near constant. I was thinking it was the alternator, but also I thought alternators either work or don't work, and this problem is in-between.
A friend suggested it may be the voltage regulator, but how would I test without taking it to a shop and spending alot of money?
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Paul
