For the past few days my windows on my 99' v6 have been sounding very weird. The passenger side window when it rolls all the way down it makes a weird hollow ker-plunk sound when it hits bottom? I know this isnt supposed to do this because it never has until recently. Thats window one, now two.... driver side window is all F'ed up. Just recently when the window was all the way rolled down and I would shut the car door it would make a terrible noise like it was loose, but it would work fine, well today it wont even go all the way down, it goes about 3 inches down and wont go any farther at all and the window motor makes awful noises because its being over worked, I am almost certain the window is out of place......where is the best place to get these problems fixed and if you have a clue to how much this would cost Id really be grateful, thanks!!!

 

probly off track, try to fix it yourself, everyone charges a ton nowadays

 

Id say pop off your door panels and have a look. Maybe off track like he said^, or maybe they are getting snagged on a wire or something. You can do it yourself with a dollar interior puller from Walmart, or a Ford dealership can do it in about 5-10 minutes...

 

Any sug. on how to pop the door panels off because I wouldnt have a clue where to start???
