http://www.rpm-mustangs.com/ has just about everything you'll need. I had a 98 and was considering about doing the swap, but as you can see I choose the old 5.0 instead. But incase you're wondering you're looking at around $2000 in parts and about another $1000 for an install. Now if I were you, I'd upgrade the cam (more hp) port and polish the intake, port polish and rebuild the heads for more hp, you'll also need to change you your intake, so might as well get a 99-04 cai, then you'll need a 65mm or 70mm throttle body to port match your intake to, and while you don't "NEED" it, go ahead and upgrade your fuel injectors to 24lbs. You won't need the full 24lbs, but it never hurts to have them. Unfortunately, you'll be about as fast as my GT, maybe faster, but you'll also get worse gas millage.

it would be a good idea, a bit pricey though

you could also get a 4.2 stroker kit while your at it for 225HP/255ft/lbs

or a supercharger off of a tbird SC that will net you 200 rwhp/300rwft.lbs ish

$720 is a far cry from the $2000 that another guy said. is it worth it

yeah it's not a bad swap to pickup another 50hp

i paid $3000 to gain an extra 100rwhp with a procharger.

my suggestion is though to get a 97 or 98 4.2L F-150 engine from a wrecked truck and use a mustang upperintake. this engine is rated about 210hp and 255ftlbs. at the rear wheels you will be about 190/225ftlbs. add a nice cam and get some ported heads and you can gain 40rwhp and 50ftlbs to put you around 230rwhp/275ftlbs or about equal to a 99+ PI 4.6 V8

add a 100 shot to that and you are getting at least 300rwhp and insane torque
