Default Tinting

Hello all, a quick question.

I just had my windows tinted yesterday. For those who live in New York and tinted their windows, what percentage did you do it at? My two front windows are at 25% and my back is 35% I hate to be wishy-washy, but I would like my two front windows at 35% as well, but everybody gives me "Beware of Cops Pulling You Over" warning. Anybody has darker that 25% Has anybody ever really been pulled over?

Thanks thanks for the replies and thanks once more for the Image Sig help. I guess I am going to go and get the two fronts re-done at 35%. Or simply find something else I can spend 70 bucks on.

Set.

I've had my tint at 5% since October 2005 and I've only had 3 problems. All 3 of those problems were when I was PARKED and a cop would come over and say "Nice car, but what % is that tint?" To which I would reply "5% sir", and they would respond (in essence) "Looks good on your car, but watch because some other officers will not let you get away with it.". I've been pulled over 2x since the tint (0 before, that is one bad thing about the tint ... more attention), and of those 2 only one said anything about it, and that was "Your tint is dark". I also passed an inspection with NO problem.

I'd say 25% is a safe to go with and wont get pulled over for..but why do you have 25 on the front and 35 on the back? just wondering bc usually people get darker on the back than on the front bc its legal to have it darker on the back..atleast im pretty sure. But i think 5% is pushing it quite a bit in a car..it looks clean as hell but pretty illegal.
