I have a 97 convertable and ocasionaly the car will blow one of the large 20 amp fueses under the hood. When it does this the car completly shuts off, the engen will turn over but wont start. If I put a new fuese in it right away it blows it, but if I wait about an hour and replace it it works. I have gotten a diagnostic on it three times and they found nothing......any ideas ....im out of them.

Well that sucks alot.

All I can think of is whatever the fuse is for, check the ground on said system. But if you have had the car checked three times, I'm sure they must have done this.
