Default Performance tune...?

Yet another question from me(sorry) lol. I was looking at the diablo predator tuner... i just found out about a shop not too far away from here that has a dynotrack... they used to specialize in mustangs and i am wondering if they can performance tune my car... instead of me putting in a chip or buying a tuner cant they just use their own stuff and advance my timing and everything? I want to get my car at higher octane level so ican get soem more power lol. i just called them but no one answered... do any of u think this is a good idea... are there places that actually do tuning liek this?

no. just get the handheld tuner. you shouldn't need a dyno tune from a shop unless you get some major work done. just a waste of money. with a handheld you can change your settings whenever you want too.

Or get a handheld tuner and let the shop tune your car with it and let them give you some advice about each parameter they tune.

Get one for yourself so that you can make future adjustments and yes, the public issued tuners like diablo will only work on one car at a time.

Get the Diablo tuner. You will love it. It makes a difference. Also, get a K&N filter kit.

Definatly get the Diablo. Do you want to pay $500 and get stuck with what THEY did? Plus, I don't know aboot your states smog laws, but having the tuner will enable you to restore the stock tune for smog instead of paying again to have someone else de-tune it.
