Default Autocross Setup??

Do those with experience have any advice as far as handling setup for 6ers when autocrossing? One guy was tellin me V8s have stiffer swaybars up front to induce understeer to balance out natural oversteer of RWDs. However, I'm thinking with the lighter engine/drivetrain in 6ers things might balance out differently. I also forget if edge 6ers have front AND rear swaybars or not...

Beyond that I'd actually appreciate if someone would just kinda blab on with whatever random advice and findings come to mind. Easier to learn that way

A good autocross set up would be to
1.) get a cai
2.) install true duals
3.) get a tuner and remap the ecu to match the set up of the track
4.) get a set of u/d pulleys
5.) lower the car
6.) get front and rear sway bars
7.) install 4.10 gears and a T-lok although your 3.73s will do just fine.
8.) get 9mm spark plug wires for better spark detonation

Think you could elaborate on how to do this properly? Is the Predator sufficient?

Totally, you have a manual, so the only thing you need to be worried about if your shift pressure.

Shift pressure? On a 5-speed?

There's an autocross sticky that you may want to read. Wheras Jthorn never autocrossed I did. The real key is to stiffen up the car. Strut brace, a GT rear sway bar and subframe connectors are the real key. Then power.

EDIT~
6ers don't come with rear sway bars, but they do come with front ones. If you want to upgrade, at the very minimal I recommend replacing the front bar bushings and end links with neoprene.
Oh I almost forgot the real important part. GOOD tires. Like Hoosier's.

That's what I was trying to convey as I waited for you to give the good advice.

Read it? Heck I was the one who suggested stickifying it

That thread deals more with the how-to's of getting into AutoX though I'll read through it again to see if I'm being redundant. What I was looking for is moreso collective open brainstorming as to the handling characteristics of the Edge 6er specifically, and what experience has taught y'all about them.

...that's right...I used y'all in a sentence...I've been in the south way too long.
