cobra engine?!
As some of you guys know ive been looking for a saleen or cobra conv. its hard to find one in good conditions. Or at least how i want it. i been looking for cars everywhere, and i found this web site so i gave them a call and they dont have any cars on stock for right now (94-98 cobras) they suggested that i should change the engine (put a 98 cobra engine in my v6). they sell it for 4k (engine, wires, computer, etc). what do you guys think? do i need to change anything else besides the engine and all that to make it work or not??

Why not just broaden your search? How much in the long run is it gonna cost to install a new engine? You will have to get a new tranny, install the new computer, if you hire a shop to do it they will charge you by the hour, it will cost alot more in the long run than just going and buying a different year or something close to what your looking for.
what xX98StallionXx said. just try ebay for a Cobra. i got a boat, a Supra, 2 jetskis, and some other really cool **** off ebay that i couldn't find anywhere else. like a life-sized Chuck Norris statue, that was a bet.
The engine swap will cost you almost as much as the Cobra itself, and then it still isn't a certified Cobra, damn vin numbers, I say keep looking and you'll find what you're looking for.

Besides, I wouldn't trust their prices. $55,000 for a damned 1999 "Ferrari Yellow" Saleen?
HA!
Fat f-ckin change, knock 30,000 off and maybe!
