k, My nefews car that i nuilt, i put everything into. 350+ HP FORD T-LOCK. Has been holding up strong. I worked at alternative auto for 2 years i know my ****. So ask yourself, do you want to spend all this money on a v6 that hit 14's, Or save for a GT or better car. If you do want to keep it, do you plan on dropping alot of money in it, Installation Parts, Supporting parts, or are you just going to give it enough to go when you need it to?
if you build a V6 the smart way you do not need to spend alot of money and get into the 10's

$8000 and i'll build a V6 to hit at least high 11's what supporting parts are you talking about??? the only real different thing is the rear between V8 and V6 cars. a 7.5 with a detroit truetrac or locker with a Girdle will hold at least 500rwhp . the T-lok in your nephews car will most likely take a dump. it is an auto or 5spd? if it's an auto then it will last a tad longer. you are doing nothing but installing a grenade in the 7.5 with the T-lok especially on high HP applications.

please don't start the why even build a v6 crap. i have been building V6's for years and used to build Turbo Buicks which the Ford 3.8 was a modified copy of the Buick 231. you don't tell Buick guy's that they are stupid for building a V6 and please don't tell me the buick is more buildable because it isn't. if anything the Ford provides better gains setup similarily

nevermind that the thread is 2 years old and the guy was dumping at 3-3.5k rpms with drag radials which he probably doesnt even need

What I ment was dont think about what will work for you now, think about what will benefit you in the long run. Down the road. I was saying if youre going to go halfway you mine as well take it all the way. Like someone said. You wouldnt cut corners building an engine so why would you want to with the rear end.

I thought thats what you were talking about getting because other people came in arguing the t-lok was good. So I thought thats what you were putting in.
