Default MIDPIPE QUESTION

im unsure if the difference to an h pipe over an x is that you gain more volume, or if the volume levels are the same and the h just gives you a deeper tone. thanks

H has a louder, i wouldnt say deeper. Just think this way, when you are reving it up, the H is useless, so its basically just straitr pipes. X is forced to flow through, and to me sound better. Power wise they will give you a better gain.

thanks alot for the advice man...and in terms of sound what is the difference between a y and an x pipe? Would the x with the same mufflers sound deeper or alot better? I ask this only because i found 1 clip of the exhaust im looking to put on my stang and it sounds nice, but the guy has a y pipe.
