okay. i got a slight problem. i can get a tin turbo kit from TMA for $5000. but i also have on order, well backorder, a vortech tuner kit. by the time i buy all the stuff for the vortech i will be around the same price as the turbos. should i cancel the supercharger and get twinned, or just go with the blower.

superchargers are safer, but if you want the power then go turbo. I would start watching your internals tho, you got the intake kit, so that + mods, + turbo could mean too much power

get forged internals with that and a better clutch to put that power to the ground(if u go with the twin turbos....i would because they are more effiecient...and sound REALLY nice lol)

meh id take a supercharger whine over the spooling anyday, but like 04mach1 said if you want more power out of the car then go with the tt set up but my opinion is if the cars a dd go with a s/c its much safer , you dont want the car constantly in the shop if its your means of transportation.

Id go TT whether its a DD or not. However, you might need to get forged internals, and thats gonna add quite a bit to the cost. So, if your lookin to stay at your 5k, s/c would probly be best.

it will be a DD. and the misconception about turbos being unreliable is false.

they are reliable BUT depending on wut kinda boost your running they can blow your motor into pieces lol...(a bit exaggerated). and theyre are a bit more sensitive to tuning than a supercharger. however, you will be getting a sh** load of power lol. id still go with the
s/c. its more simple and gets the job done
