Clutch cable adjuster?
Check my sig, the clutch takes a long time to grab, and when i tack it up and let the clutch out fast the car lurches forward then takes off. Would a cable adjuster help or is my clutch **** ed?
The stock quadurant has a plastic paw on it and takes slack up at the quadrant, you may have to crawl under the footwell and see if the quadrant is taking up maximum slack (its not hard to figure out imo, at least it wasnt for me) and if it is taking up all the slack it can then you can do one of two things 1) Say eff it buy a new cable (you may have to do this eventually anyway if your cable is starting to wear out, which it may be doing, hard to tell over the internet) 2) Get under the car and remove your clutch dust cover thing (whatever the manual calls it) and see if you can take any slack up there. (you may want to invest in a Haynes Manual or whatever your favorite is, i like hanyes and it worked just fine for me on this job)
Good luck, hope this helped. I recently did a complete clutch job on my mustang so its very fresh on my mind what i had to do. The first time around i didnt do it quite right so i learned the hard way the right way to do it, lol.
