My roof got pounded yesterday...does insurance usually cover that or is it extra?

INS will cover it, if its on your policy. which ussually they are. Sometimes bad things happen for the good. Now you can take the money and get an aftermarket hood.

what part of NM are you in? I live on White sands missile range, and we got pounded by hail too (but my car was in the garage).

Insurance will probably cover it, but youre gonna have to pay your deductible... but hey, a new paint job for $500 aint bad...

check to see if you have "comprehensive coverage" on your policy
that takes care of hail

When was the hail anyways? Im in Las Vegas and it hasnt been THAT bad just rain, Ida shiit my pants becuase mines a vert.

you are about 400 miles north of me, lol.

hailed on wednsday...hail banged up my roof, the trim under the windows, and loosened the black vent thing between the hood and the windshield. my insurance said that some disaster thing was handling it since so many people had damage and were filing claims.
