Lancer ES is positive that he can take me down!
One of my friends drives a Lancer ES ( I think its 01-03 ) and he only has exhaust and intake so far and hes positive that he can take my 02 V6. My current mods are MAC CATBACK,MAC CAI and STEEDA PULLEY. He also told me his car runs 19 flat stock in 1/4 mile and when he installed a exhaust and intake he ran 17.00 at 75mph. I dont really know how does lancers respond to minor mods.
His car weighs around 2600lbs without a driver and mines around 3100 without a driver. I probably push around 200 horses and he pushes around 125 i believe. What confuses me is the weight difference. Will it affect me if I race him or??. I think it should be a fairly easy race.Anyone?

, I was just really curious because he has been talkin mad **** about how he can take me very easily. How many carlnegths should a decent driver like me put on him in a mile stretch??
