Everytime I try to wash my windows with windex it always seems to streak for me. I try using a pad of paper towel which i squirt some windex on to wipe and then a dry pad of paper towel to wipe that clean. Anyways, I was wondering what you guys do for cleaning the windows and how hard is it for you to get rid of all streaks and that garbage...?

 

aahh i gotcha for this one....it might sound wierd but you have to try it. i did detail work for like 2 years. so you always use 2 towels for this. one to wipe the cleaner around with. and the second to buff the streaks off with. well anyways spray the window and this is the goofy thing. the natural oils from you hands will clean any nasyness or film off the window. so spray it, wipe with your hand, wipe with the first towel. and before the window streaks dry completely wipe with the second one and you should be good to go. but dont use windex on car windows expecially with tint..but get an automotive glass cleaner like 'gunk' it comes in an aerosol can for like 4 bucks at wall mart. any more questions just lemme know

 

oh yea and dont use paper towels...take a towel like the ones your mom probably has in the bathroom to wipe your hands off with after you wash em. they are like a medium sized towel. but those have always worked best for me and they dont leave lint like paper does

 

i never get any streaks with vinegar it smells tho lol

 

The best stuff in the world to use is by far ZEP window cleaner. I will only use it on my, customer cars. You can only buy them is a box of 12 cans. I ran out of cleaner one day and i see a can in my nefews back seat and try it and it works amazing, its an industrial cleaning company. I see it at alot of the shows now.
