recently ive been looking into getting new gears for my 99 v6 mustang... but should i get 4.10 or 3.73??? ive heard that the 4.10 has a better take off but slower top speed but is there a big difference? what do you guys recomend?

 

4.10s, you will still get 20+ mpg, and your top speed will be higher if anything cause the cars dont have the power to pull throught the dog of the overdrive we have

dont u have to do some kind of recalibration after installing 4.10s and whats needed to do that?

 

yes and you need em for 3.73s to, diablo or SCT tuner

 

3.73's and you will still get 26mpg

 

also where could i go to get the gears put in??? because im sure as hell not going to atempt that.. haha.. and how much would it cost to be put in??

As for install..I had a local race shop do mine and the T-Lok for $250.00
