Default weird squeak

alright, so my 'stang has been making this weird noise near the front left tire. it just sounds like somethings rubbing but in any event it is definately loud and annoying. i would appreciate it if you guys could help me out on this one cuz we already tried taking the wheel off and lubing it and it sounded like it was getting better but then it turned to $h!t again. thanx for the help.

i had something similiar to that a few years ago. when mine was making a weird noise i changed the bearings inside the wheel. can you describe the noise as best as possible? and when does it do it exactly?

Is it just when you turn?..If so, try going and running over a speed bump or something similar. It sounds like a bad ball joint(s) to me.

I have a similar problem. How exactly do you replace the bearings?

If the squeak is as constant as the spin of your wheels than most likely you could look at ball joints and wheel bearings, but I also have a rubbing sound coming from my front driver side tire and a mechanic told me that these rotors (even stock replacements) wear from the inside out and makes this rubbing sound. Mine does it if my wheel is turned all the way to one side, and it only does it sometimes. Just like my power steering pump.

My car has been doing that since I changed the front brakes earlier this year. I thought it the left front brake too. It seems to sqeak when the brakes are pressed and sometimes continues to sqeak even after youve let off the brakes. So Im not sure whats causing it.

you have to buy a new bearing with the ball joints. i remember getting them from the dealership, but i had a famly mechanic install mine. so i didnt do it, maybe if someone has done it here they can help? but yeah i think its definately the wheel bearings. i remember too that i believe you should do both of the front tires just so it will even out. at least thats what my mechanic told me.

FIRST, grease up all your fittings. Mine was squeking insane at every single crack in the road and it just needed alittle grease on the tierod..
