Default 11 sec Integra

Theres a place close by my house called 1320 Import Performance. They have a 1992-1994 Acura Integra that runs 11s, but its N/A. There's no nitrous, no blower, no turbo, no anything. According to an article in 5.0 Mustang & Super Fords, there is an N/A Mustang that runs low 11s, so im assuming that it is possible with the Integra. Does anyone know what they might have done to that car to make it so fast?

hmm... dropped a V8 into it?

Hehe well most likely its gutted and weighes around 2500 lbs or less is my guess. Im sure its a full on drag car, no other way I could see it being done.

i think mdvaldosta put it right. it's gotta be a track car. probably doesn't even weigh 2400 lbs. and you can get about 250 to the wheels with proper tuning and a stroker kit with about 12:1 compression. it is possible.

yea i've seen some pretty quick imports but they have been full on drag cars. Its possible weight cuttage is simple and a bigger motor can and will drop u in the 11's.

With a set of really wild Skunk 2 Cams, B20 Conversion, Port & Polish, Helical or Locking LSD, plus High Comp Cams, I/H/E, and a full on strip job with carbon fiber doors, hatch, hood and fenders, it's actually pretty easy

my cousin had a 11 sec '92 GSR Integra.. here's a list of some things he did to it. it was a street car, not full on drag. no turbo, no nos.

92 gsr with built b20b engine

b20b jdm block
b18c1 gsr fully built head ( port and polished )
type r cams, titanium valve springs and retainers
type r ported manifold
b16a1 tranni with stage 4 clutch masters, and lightened flywheel
aem cam gears
dc 4 into 1 headers
high flow cat
b & m fuel pressure regulator and gauge
mugen ecu

i'm just giving you the info he gave me when he was selling it

btw, it wasn't gutted and it had this sound system while running 11s

pioneer head unit , alpine speakers in the front and rear, two 12 inch j l subs in a box all pushed by 2 rockford fosgate amps
