Dyno Runs!!!!!
That's what I thought, but first run we did came up 265 and I caught a glimpse of that and I said, "Wait a minute, what were those numbers?" Then he told me and I was like, "No way, there's got to be somthing wrong, that car should be at 200." So he double checked everything and it was all 100% right, car ran 270s all day did like 10 pulls trying to figure out a few things and best was 277 and worse was 265.
Oh, he also had a stock 02 or so V6 Auto saved in his files and it dynoed at 155 rwhp. Hell my old 98 went 125.4 rwhp on the same dyno so I trust his numbers and his machine.

Well we did 3 base runs, then after that it was just a matter of trying to figure out the Tweecer software, trust me, it's not easy, at all. We did like 5 or so half runs to see if the adjustment we made did any thing, then after it was all said and done we did like 2 or so final runs to check the A/F mixture to make sure it wasn't running violently lean like it was on the stock runs. Like I said, we nearly blew the engine on the 3 rd pull. They canned the pull just after maximum hp because the car started shooting out white smoke and we all smelt somthing burning and he looked over the A/F ratios and they were just way too lean in the upper revs, as you can see on the dyno runs with the red line.
Well remember, it's not all about #s, my power peaks very early, so that means I start to loose power early, so when I shift at 5500 rpms, I'm only running around 210-230 rwhp, so I'm loosing out on a lot of upper end hp, and it's in the upper end where you need hp to make good runs. Like I said, I want to push peak hp up to around 5000 rpms instead of 4200 or so. I'd also like to up the torque curve too as that's also needed for quicker times.
I was the only dyno, but I paid by the hour, and got a buddy discount.[8D] I just went and checked the heads and they are rusted pretty well, but they are slightly uneven in rust with the engine, so it's plausible the heads were changed out, but very early in the original modification of the car. Probably at around 10K miles if the were indeed switched. Man it's killing me now wondering what's exactly been done.
