Sorry about the tranny thing, I was just going on what a few people have said in the 5.0 forums with them blowing ball bearings and what not in their T-5s, although all of then are S/C and foxbodys so I'll take your word for it.

I have a Spec Stage 1 Clutch which is good to 490lbs of torque

I have BBK Unequal Shortie Headers.

I'm also beggining to think the engine has been stroked, because I agree, those torque numbers are way too high to be stock. I brought my numbers to work and showed a few car gods that we have there and all of them said that odds are the engine has been stroked.

how are you gonna tell if it's a stroker by looking at the engine??? you better have Xray vision to do so.

a 360" 302 stroker looks identical to a 289 destroked 5.0

Last time I checked 351 is the maximum. Well I've got my next mod mapped out, and due to the dyno readings, it's not going to be cheap. I'm gonna get the following:

1.) Trickflow Polished Intake
2.) 70mm Polished Throttle Body
3.) Polished Elbow Adaptor
4.) Ford Racing 24lb injectors
5.) BBK Fuel Pressure Regulator
6.) 155lb/hr High Flow Fuel Pump
7.) 80mm Cobra MAF set to 24lb injectors

What do you guys think, sounds like I hit everything, or would you do one or two things differently?

no you can go 360 on a stock block

4.05" x 3.5" stroke

PAW Performance automotive wharehouse makes 360" kits for 302's

327 is max for 289 blocks because the cylinder bottoms do not extend down as much as the almost identical 302 block. in fact that is pretty much the only difference between the 302 and 289 block
