no ford took the 3.8 from buicks grand national minus the turbo, which i believe was offered in the buick regal of the 80s, so if a SC makes your car a thunder tird, then your driving one of regal to start

Well, regardless, Did ford manufacture their own 3.8L not just take it out of a buick? its unique to the mustang, you cant just take the engine out of a mustang and plop it in the buick without changing anything.

Get the built/forged 6! Less headache in the logistics of switching to a 8, and you will have a motor that can handle anything!

would i have to make my own or is there some place that i could buy those? and if i did get the cold air intake and exahst after i rebuild the motor switchting out the cams, and such would i have to buy anything else or just diffrent headers to get it to fit together? i think i am going to get the stage 3 power pack by the way would i need a new transmission or what else would i need to help get all that i can out of my car?

supersixmotorsports.com sells the 3.8's all the way up to 4.2's. They also sell some variations of those engines. The trannies should mount straight up with the 3.8. Its the same engine, but i dont know about the 4.2's.

anyways, try to get a s/c offa a thunderbird 3.8, they should hook up with ur engine.

I just got a '88 Regal Limited 2-door for a winter car. It has only 60k on it.
