I dont think its about setting himself apart, i think its more about making a machine he can look at and say, "damn i like the way that looks". And any car can have sequential lights, and have people go, hey thats neat. But its not gunna have the impact a new sexy hood will. And if he is going to get the hood. My personal suggestion would to be not wasting money on little things like that. If your going to do stuff to your lights, either get new ones or tint them. But i dont like blacked out lights all to much.
ive got the sequentials and LOVE them. i get comments on them all the time. people askin where i got them how hard it was all kinds of stuff. the big stuff like hoods and bumpers and all that will set your car apart from everyone elses and make it very unique but you also need the little details that just add that extra touch that completes the car.

Thats true. I did think it was really cool looking, and was good with the mustangs tail lights since they are all in a line as they are anyway. But that just seems to be something which would be like a christmas present or something small to do when he has a bit of extra money. With a tight budget like his, i would deffinitally shoot for essentials, then move on to details. I got my rims, and tints, and a few minor things done to the car, so im moving to details now, such as an antenna delete.

what about paint? i know you said he owns a body shop but do you have to pay for paint? and you dont need a grill delete if you get an 03-04 cobra bumper. it comes with one. the bumper just goes all the way back and the pony hangs there. the stock grill wont fit on a cobra bumper. i dont know where you found the bumper but blueovalindustries has them with everything you need including fogs and the new pony and everything for 495.
