The V6 is not the best stock car to race but with a little money and so work you can turn it into a good racer.

 

How modded is your civic? My friend has a 2000 Manual and he has no problems taking Civics. Slightly modded or not.Now bottle feeders are a different story.

 

ya i dont have a problem with civics with my 2000 stock six (manual) stang, I have stayed with Si's but didnt win, but i do think they are weak stock

 

i don't have that many mods, just a 2000 si (b16a2) with the basic i/h/e and a stage 2 clutch. i'm not fast, run low 15s. the pre 99 v6 stangs normally don't put up a good fight, the 99+ some do some don't. i thought that the 99+ v6 5spd ran high 15s stock. but now i know they run little faster. why is there such a big difference in times? with some running 16s to some running 14.9.

mostly the driver. the 5-speeds can run up to a second faster than the autos with the GT or v6.

 

hey check out this site www.rpmoutlet.com theres alot of things you can buy there for your stang that will add soem rwhp. its a little costly but option A and option B are good buys. You might want to think about getting exhaust somehwre else. mebe bassani idk its up to you. but with soem of these mods your v6 will def pack a good punch. also if you have the money look into suspension. you can get a full kit that will drop your car 2 inches for about 1g and that comes with everything. check it out here www.maximummotorsports.com
