Damn T that sucks ***, first you loose the GT and now this.

 

Yea, I'm over the whole GT thing ... I know I'm getting a GT of some sort, or another new car of some sort when I graduate. After driving my girlfriends new Subaru WRX Turbo ... WOW, lol. It literally felt faster than the GT/CS. Then again, I wasn't proficient driving a stick ... Anywho, the car was fast. The AWD and suspension hugged the road amazingly. Overall I'd give it a 9 out of 10. Comfortable. Fast. Affordable. Good buy!!!

We (7 couples = 14 people) went to my girlfriends house to all go at the same time. When everyone saw my car all the girls gasped and all the guys said 'Dayum'. One of my chick friends ran over and slapped him in the face and said "HOW COULD YOU DO THAT TO TY'S CAR?!" lol. Pretty funny. He is paying for it, so whatever. Estimate is $1300 for paint, install, parts, shipping, labor (We know the owners of the shop. Get an entirely new door for a fairly low price.) I can't believe it happened though. I'm still in shock. If his truck had been a little higher he would've shattered my window and really f-d up my friend in the passenger seat. If he had been going 15 - 20 mph faster my car could've been totaled with not a scratch to his ...

I don't like the fact that 10 mph in reverse did this to my car. I do not feel safe at all anymore in it. I am heavily considering a Subaru Impreza or something for my next car. It's cheaper than a GT, handles better, and performs equally. We will see.

 

The only scoobies that will run GT mustangs('99+) are the STis. The turbo FELT faster because you say its an auto, and thats just turbo cars for ya. Once they build boost, its smile time. Unless its a honda......lol

 

Yep, car felt like mine until the turbo kicked in ... then it put my head back until the next gear. Then it put my head back until the next gear

I loved the car man. Too small for me though. I fit in it comfortable, but it just looks too girly

 

Lets see, truck vs car.................... an F-150 has a solid built frame, it's like a damn tank when it comes to low end collisions. Mustangs are actually very very safe when it comes accidents, now they do have a lower side impact rating, but front and rear they're top notch.

 

hahah no, a stock previus gen WRX (not STI 227HP version) will rape a PI GT and run with the S197s

 

yea well if the gt didnt put ur head back into ur seat ur not driving right and you drive like a *****, my friends gt all thats done is c&l CAI and sct t uned to 93 octane and that **** puts u back and chirps the first three gears.

 

Yep, they can chirp gears all day long.

Oh believe me, the Mustang was VERY fast. 1000x faster than the '02... But her car was very fast too. I don't know her specs offhand, nor do I care ... but I was very impressed with the little 4 cyl.
