Oh believe me, the Mustang was VERY fast. 1000x faster than the '02... But her car was very fast too. I don't know her specs offhand, nor do I care ... but I was very impressed with the little 4 cyl.

Yep, car felt like mine until the turbo kicked in ... then it put my head back until the next gear. Then it put my head back until the next gear
I loved the car man. Too small for me though. I fit in it comfortable, but it just looks too girly

The only scoobies that will run GT mustangs('99+) are the STis. The turbo FELT faster because you say its an auto, and thats just turbo cars for ya. Once they build boost, its smile time. Unless its a honda......lol

Wow. So we got 4 estimates. In order from worst to best -
1) "Lucky Rogers". Named because the owners are Lucky and Roger. Small shop on 4th street. Has a junkyard right out back. Inside the shop they had ripped up cars with no work being done. The main office was trashy, and when they came out and evaluated my car the price was $800. This was for JUST a used door shell and paint. Nothing else. Pretty much they would go out back, get the door, paint it blue, put it on. This would mean my car would not match. I would have a new door and old paint around it.
2) Barataria Customs. They had some nice cars being worked on, but nobody was working! They had kids running around the shop with old ladies, and they had some very nice cars just sitting there. All the mechanics were in the office watching TV and some kids. They told me $1,300 for a new door and the shell painted. JUST that. No blend.
3) Compbells Customs. Always do good work. We know the owners. Never had a problem. $1,850.50 was the estimate for a new door, a new paint job, they would reconstruct the steel bar in the door, re-tint the windows, and replace all the intricacies of the old door.
4) California Customs. Again, always do good work. Don't know the owners, but they have done alot of work on my cousins car... She wrecks alot. The estimate was $1,871.50. They were doing everying Compbells was doing except they were going to put the "Mustang" strpe back on the door. Compbells didn't have that on the estimate.
So, I am having problems collecting the money. He has said he isn't going to pay to other people (I've heard sometimes), but when I confront him he says I will have my money Monday (Tomorrow). He wants us to go to "Lucky Rogers" and get the junkyard door. I've already told him - If he thinks I am getting a junkyard door he has another thing coming to him. My mom has his insurance company on speed dial and will tell them everything. We have 6 witnesses to say exactly what I have said this entire time. They wanted us to put it on our insurance at first so they didn't have to pay anything except the deductible. That is complete BS. They are trying everything to get out of it, but one way or another I am getting my money.
