Default True Dual & Non-True Exhaust

Well i didnt want to highjack anyone elses thread, so i just decided to post my own. This is the catback i have.

http://www.flowmastermufflers.com/pr...oducts_id=3889

I would like to know, what the difference is between a true dual and just a dual exhaust is? If its just the H pipe or X pipe or ABC pipe, cant i just get one and install it? AND if it only is the piping, then will it actually make any difference? Because for now it seems like it runs from two catalytic converters (im guessing thats what they are, im 99% sure) have seperate piping that comes to a single point, then thats where the flowmasters connect and it splits out again.... So is this true dual or not?

the exhaust you linked to is not a true dual exhaust because it is useing a y pipe a true dual exhaust uses a H or a X pipe

Everybody around here will say that True dual is better, but i honestly dont really care. You dont lose much power anyways. Ive got the same setup as you and i love the **** out of it. The True dual just makes it sound deeper, and gives a little extra juice, but not much extra.

Lol, the catback is already on my car. And they need to raise it anyway because it scrapes on bumps. How much do you think one of those would cost?>
