Supercharger or maybe a good shot of nitrous.

Stock GT's are slower than they are from a 50ish roll. If there are anything threads on what you would need to be a GT... that would get you close.

a LOT of mods...unless you have a ton of money sitting around...stick to the 150 HP R/Ts...SRTs are out of reach

Im in a race group with alot of SRT's...and we have a guy with a well modded 04 GT and a stock SRT, is maybe 3 cars behind....they are NEONS...but dam quick...Stock SRT w/good driver will run 14.0 in the 1/4

Its all power to weight my friend. Thats why they are so damn quick, that whole concept is what makes A/C Corbas, motorcycles, supercars fast. The guy i work for has a Buell drag bike that runs low sevens in the quarter. The V-Twin in the bike makes around 290hp, over 300ft lbs of torque...but the whole bike weighs aboot 400lbs., maybe even less[]

pretty badass. Neons are definitely quick though, and it would a six banger a good deal of boost to run one.
