Default beating a GT

k so i've heard from alot of ppl that ist impossible to beat a GT unless u spend huge amounts of money... but wouldnt it just take a power pack which is 1800 plus 4.10 ... so like 2 grand and a bit total? i knoe this question came up be4 about what u should do with 2 K and i can see how you could waste it on bolt ons which would do nothing but with the above combo would you have like 250 hp plus better gearin so u would beat a new edge GT?

I GT is just like any other car, its not impossible to beat any car. It all depends on the cars age, upkeep, stock vs modified, and driver to name a few. It also depends what you do to your car. Sorry this is kindof a pointless thread without details. But yes a power pack would be a good investment.

lol n the whole reason the powerpacks seem like a gud idea is that they dont **** enything up.. unlike nitrous lol

nitrous wont mess up your engine as long as it's tuned well.

A powerpack, gears, and a locker should put you over the top to beat a new edge gt. I would personnaly go with your combo over nitrous just due to the fact that it is always there. Not to mention i would rather say that "my slow all motor v6 beat your 8" rather than "My nitrous beat you" Kindof get my drift.

All the powerpack is.. head/cam intake deal. Cost of install of that is going to be a lot. Just letting you know so you wont buy it and thing its a done deal.

There is probably another 1500 expenses ontop, with install and tuning.

and your not gettin a power pack and gears for 2k. w/ gears you need
gears 150
lsd..you dont need it but it would be stupid not to get one 450
install kit +diff fluid 100
tuner to fix ur speedo. will also help w/ powerpack 400

thats like 1100 by itself. not counting install wich will probably run you about 300 for gears
