Yes you can, and yes even though the MACH is one of the best Stocks, the best next to Bose, there are better speakers out there. WAY better bass too. I agree goto www.crutchfield.com and click "what fits my car" and put in your info and check out all the stuff you can get. >Woofers< will really wake your car up, but i noticed alot of Mustangs will rattle alot so PLEASE FIX THAT IF IT DOES. They also add more weight and WILL effect Gas/Performance, but not by much.
to get the same bass you have to find some speakers w/ a really low freqency. i think finding some small subs would probably be best.

yes, 6x8 fits but uless something is wrong with ur speakers leave them alone. a component will have to be rewired and the amp bypassed. like 50 bux labor per speaker. leave it.
