You have to port match the upper intake, and on a stock engine you will not get any noticlble gains, maybe anothe 2-3 rwhp, they only perform at maximum output when the entire intake is ported, the heads are ported and rebuilt, and you have a cam swap done.

you don't always need the heads to be rebuilt when porting.

True, but why not, you've already took the time and effort to get everything else out the way, or paid to have it done, might as well take care of the heads.

why rebuild them? why not go with big valves and a 5 angle valve job and get better valve springs and roller rockers if you wanna do some good while you're in there?

that was an attempt at humor btw. why waste the money to get stock heads rebuilt when you can just pay a little more for aftermarket ones
