It would be easier because the carpet runs under it i believe. I mean if you leave it in it will be hell trying to stuff the carpet back underneath it

yeah the owner of my car before me must have done the same thing beacuse at certain parts the carpet sticks out a little. no biggie just a little annoying sometime.
