Help me find 12v ignition wire
My girlfriend has a 2002 V6 Mustang convertible that was recently broken into.
Instead of spending $400 for an alarm, I plan on spending $5.00 for a bright flashing LED that makes it look like it has an alarm.
My alarm in my jeep has a similar LED, and it is WAY obvious that it's not OEM so it should do the trick........or at least help a little.
Here is a link to what I am looking to install:

Can somebody please direct me to which wire I want to use for the 12V ignition wire which is grounded when the engine is off?
I really don't want to go aroud messing with wires that have ANYTHING to do with the ignition without knowing exactly which one to splice into.
Thanks for your help.

i put LEDs in my cup holder and in my ce player pocket....i put it on a switch and on wired it so they come on with the lights.....i need to turn the hgeadlight on to have them on but i can turn them off while the headlights are on......i used the dimmer wire from my cd player for a postive source....you can use a 12v accesory wire or even the power wire from your radio for the power source for it....use a switch...i mounted mine inside the center console like in the armrest/box that opens....its really easy to do.
