in my 92 mustang 2.3 4 cyl my check engine light is on, is that on o2 sensor also my air bag light has been coming on at diff intervals, is there a sensor for that also.

any help or ideas would be appreciated

well best thing to do is hook youre stangs up to a shop computer to find out what sensor has failed.

air bag light going off in intervals = something is wrong with the air bag system... the code can be read by counting how many times it flashes between breaks and using that as a number... i.e beep beep beep pause beep beep pause pause pause means code 32.

check engine light can be anything... you need to find out the code and since you have obd1 it'll be a hassle... take it to a shop or a buddy that has a code scanner and find out what it is.

If everything is handling the same and your not losing power during shifts just detatch the battery terminals for 30 minutes and then re-attach it resets the computer and you should be fine I had the same problem on my 01 and nothing was ever wrong. Even after taking it to Schucks where they also did the electronics scan for free.
