can anybody tell me why when im on the throttle all the way, once i hit 43mph it switches gears, and gets a crazy boost of power and jumps to 50? Its an auto. I have never felt a car pull like it does. It does it again once i switch to 4th gear as well.

 

only thing i can think of is a shift kit... cause when it shifts it shifts hard, fast, and smooth and just launches. any other opinions?

 

Either it's a shift kit, or the boost from the N2O is giving some type of short term shift boost when the car shifts, just a guess though.

 

Hmm, mine does the same thing, and has no shift kit. when the auto shifts its kinda in neutral and once it hits the next gear, the speedo catches up to the speed that you gained while in neutral, and the needle jumps all of sudden, giving you the illusion of boost that just kiked in all of a sudden.

 

i dont know but it shifts hard and fasttttttt it thorws heads back pretty hard

 

if u think thats a hard shift, try the D2D shift. thatll throwur head back a lil more. BTW i had another car before this one and the tranny was the same and it threw everyones head back too on hard acceleration. I luv it

 

mine does the same thing!!!!. if i floor it when im around 30 or 35 it picks up speed like crazy!!!!

 

well whatever causes it, I LOVE IT!!! Plus, i just raised my gas pedal to, now i have a full open throttle(ford limits the throttle with so much slack in the line).. its pretty awesome
