im lookin to buy a stang but only have 6 grand. i was wondering around how many miles does a stang start goin to shat.im leang more towerds a gt with over 100,000 and will imeditly start saving up to rebuild the engine but that will take about 4 or 5 mounths.

Dude theres guys sellin their supercharged foxs for like 5 grand and has work done to them. If I was u I would buy a sooped up fox. I say about 180-200 miles

i dont have six grand on me. i would be paying payments. but i dont really like the fox style for some reason my friend has one i just dont like it for some reason fast as hell though.

Way too much for that many miles, talk them down to $4500 and it's good, hell I got my 95 with 100K on it for $6000 and only reason I paid so much is because of the rare *** color. 5.0L, is a great, cheap, affordable building block to work with though.

I paid 3500 for my 99 .... 140k miles, runs just as good as one with 50k miles on it.... ofcourse im replacing the engine and tranny and rearend around january just cuz i dont like the sound of "140k", but i couldnt pass it up for the condition it was in, and its my favorite body style... but definitly dont worry about mileage, these things will run forever ITS A FORD!!!
