According to the users manual, it says I don't have to change the rear diff fluid. Is that correct? If its not, how many miles should I change it? What type (not brand) oil should I use (i.e. 75W-90). My truck's manual says I should change it every 35k miles, so a manual stating I don't have to change it just seems weird.

i would think it should be done along with the tranny at every 30k, but im waiting for something to happen to the 02 so it just gives an excuse to put in gears and an LSD

 

Yes, the differential, tranny, powersterring, and break fluid all need to be changed out between 30-40K, oh, don't forget those spark plugs and spark plug wires.
