how much will it cost to get my computer done so it will give me more hp?

$400 (give or take some) for the hand held tuner and labor is free, since you do it, lol.

I really hope ur not talking about the F&F style where he has his laptop in the car.


But if you are talking about getting a handheld programmer then about 400 or so for the SCT!!!!

Buy one, it can cost as much as a tuner if a shop does it. Look for diablo and or sct for good hand held systems (I like diablo). If you want a full tuning software system, then look for the Tweecer RT, and PMS.

The only time you would need a turner would be to correct for aftermarket gears, larger dimater wheels, to turn off the rear o2 sensors to allow you to run an off road midpipe, and turn off the traction control off.

Some can also retard/advance the timming to allow for n2o but over all its a good investment if you are planning on gears, exhaust, and n2o.

Yes, they are worth the money, especially when the "CHECK ENGINE" light desides to trip.
