ok i have decided to get gt take off and put mac mufflers on them (dont flame me for doing this im on a budget and this is how ima do it ) but i was woundering wetherr i should get them from ebay or get them directly from mac??? my next question is do i get offset in and off set out or off set in ond center out or should i get center in and center out

you want offset in/offset out. if you can find them on ebay go for the ebay ones as long as you know they are mac mufflers.

mac flowpaths mufflwers is what i want is this teh offset i want cuz this looks like offset in and center out

for about 50 bucks more total you can have a mac catback....way less headaches too

but im on the way cheap right now and this is all i can afford im probably not gonna get tne muffs for a few months after i get the gt take offs and i gont want a y pipe at all

well why dont you wait liek a month and save some money or however long your waiting for the mac mufflers becuase GT takeoff are smaller piping and will sound a little high pitched. You also have alot more fabricating with gt takeoffs+swaping mufflers where as the mac doesnt have that....if you dont want a y pipe get the h pipe or h pipe conversion


its your money and your car do what you want but im just saying how to look at it

why would you get flamed? even erick has said that unless youre under forced induction, or some other major power adder, 2.5" full exhaust is a little too much free flowing, where as the 2.25" stock GT take offs are perfect for a normal V6.

ima go the gt pipes and a poor mans h pipe and five years down the road when i get the money to build one bad *** 3.8 stroked to 4.2 with h/c/i and a eaton m112 ill go with the 3 inch piping all the way back
