Default Cluster Reading Incorrectly

I drove all night long from Gainesville to Miami and noticed that my speedmeter was reading wrong and weird, i had my cruise set to 70 and it would mark 75 mph or i would set it to 75 and i would mark 80 and the marker would jump around from 70 to 80 etc. finally it seemed to have gotten worse when i was on the last highway and almost about to get off i was going 70 like everyone else and it read 80 i hit the brakes enough that would have been a 5 speed difference and it just stayed stuck on 80, weird? i dont know what to do or whats wrong, all i know is that its giving me false readings and i really dont want to get pulled over by a cop.

Well until u get it fixed, try to use the digital speedo. See if its givin you the same speed reading as well.

They read speed digitally, like a digital alarm clock, you know, the one that glows. Anyways, a cable to your dash has probably come loose, just get a haynes manual and try to fix it yourself, or bring it to a shop.
