more engine trouble
I still cant get my engine to start. I took my throttle body off and there is oil all inside my intake and on the throtle body. Any ideas as to why this is and if it might be a reason it wont start?
Thanks

There is supposed to be a black coating in those areas. It is put there at the factory and should not be cleaned off or removed. Can you describe your problem more thoroughly? Is it turning over? Do you have fuel pressure? Have you checked your Plugs and Wires? There can be several causes why your engine won't start.
Need more info, aslo is it oil or dirt, because intakes can, and do get dirty on the inside over time. Is the engine turing over, starting then dying, just clicking, no click and no turnover, what?
When I try to start my car it will turn over but will not run. I have fuel pressure. When I remove my plugs fuel will drip out of the cylinder. I just replaced the plugs and wires. I am positive my wires are right, unless the Haynes book is wrong, which I know they have been wrong before. When I first put my motor back together, after replacing the head gaskets, it ran rough and became rougher untill it died and wouldnt start again at all. I have tried removing the fuse for the fuel pump and when I do that it sounds more like it is going to start. However, when I replace the fuse it doesnt even act like it wants to start.
