Default do all mustangs do this?

when i just get done driving my car there is something ( i was told it was condensation from heater/ AC) that leaks onto my headers it drops out a small black pipe coming from the passenger side that goes into the firewall. What is this and why does it do it? pretty much whenever i turn off my car it makes a sizzling noise its pretty loud cause its draining onto my headers.

All cars with a/c do this, it's called condesation. It's caused by the air box in the car being cooler than the air around which then causing moisture in the atmoshpere to condense and build up. The drain is there to stop all that water from draining onto your carpet and growing mold and ruining it. There is no fix for it, you'll probably end up with cracked manifolds before too long, it's pretty common.

Actually it is something to worry about. My manifold is cracked like every other mustang out there because of this exact problem. When I replace them which i'm doing very soon i'd like to try to make it last so does anyone know anything you can do to prevent this? Like making some type of shield so water goes somewhere besides the manifold, like on the ground. Or is there a type of material for headers you can get, like ceramic, that wont be vulnerable to this annoying problem?

Well, my manifolds never did crack, but I now have long tubes with a good ceramic coating, and the a/c still drips on them. AS to wether they will hold up or not is just to be seen over time. I would assume that they would do a little better, but I have seen headers crack under many other conditions. Most people just have their stockers welded up.

yeah a good ceramic coating or wrapping would prevent it. mine aren't cracked either though.
