Default fishtailing?

Ok, im new here and i dont kno how this stuff works, but i have a large problem and i need some advice...my car randomly fishtails

there is no way to tell when it comes, its happened to my MOM!, my brother and me 4 times. one time i almost got spun around, but i jumped a curb and blew a tire and pancaked my wheel.
its not that im taking turns too fast, cause that was coming off of a red likght, its not my tires cause i just got brand new performance tires, and i just got a new set of shocks and struts, anyone have any idea what could be happening?!?

its gotten so bad that im actually thinkin about selling the stang!!

thanks alot
Daniel

What kind of tires you have? What kind of condition are they?

I've found that "fishtailing" is often a sign of bad throttle control. If it's raining don't floor the car. I've never fishtailed in my GT and I always drive with the traction control off. Do you have T/C? If you do leave it on....

i just put on brand new fuzions. they are in great condition.
its really not that im driving too fast...we took it to a parking lot and tried to do donuts or loose conrole or anything, but we got nothing.
i dont kno if i have traction control.
and yes it would be an awesome drifter...if i could control it, its just totally random.

thanks alot for all the replies

I beg to differ. I can spin my tires easily. If you have an automatic, it will be harder, but with a stick shift, I can break my rear end loose whenever I want, and its a 98 V6
