No check engine light
I just got my mustang and there is no check engine light. My car was acting up a few weeks ago, stalled and wouldn't start and I never got a check engine light. AAA came and hit my gas tank with a pipe while I cranked it and it started right up. He mentioned something about vapor lock or my fuel pump could be on its way out. I figured it was bad gas and put some water remover in the tank with some fresh gas and just replaced the fuel filter and it has been fine ever since. Shouldn't have the check engine light came on and could the previous owner had disconnected the light somehow? Or do the lights burn out? I'd like to know what my engine is doing and get this light working!
It's pretty easy, shouldn't take more than 30 minutes. I think it's a 197 bulb, but I may be mistaken, i took my cluster out about 2 months ago to put in my white guage face, so I don't remember. I put in all new bulbs, so I wouldn't have to worry about it.
