my brother is building my car a right side exit exhaust using a Spintech race muffler. he said it sounded awesome when he tested it but the fit was off or something. basically it is 2.5" into a 3.5" dr gas oval pipe kit and out the side. he has to do some cut and weld on the muffler to get it to work. he tried no muffler and said it sounded good until it revved past 3000.

but uhh i saw some magnaflow mufflers on ebay brand new for like 60 shipped. thats 5 bucks more than the mac mufflers. are magnapacks the same as magnaflows?

mangapacks would probably shound like sh*t on a 6...they are very free flowing mufflers. i dont know that they would sound bad but they probably will.

magnapacks are different than magnaflows. the packs have almost no packing around them and they are really loud. the magnaflows sound really good after they have been used for a few thousand miles, until then they are quiet and mellow. but they sound good.

Go listen to a Stock Titan... tell me how bad *** that sounds... Then listen to myDads (or hisDads) truck, i mean yeah its got a 5.6 but the Titans sound like any other asian truckwhen their stock. I had tohelp this guy get outta the sno with one because it was too low to drive out and he hit some pretty high rpms and spun out for awhile... im pretty sure a good catback on a 6er woulda put thattruck to shame.. tho he had the sports package and my dad has a custom/offroad package...(custom being the previous owner lifted it to high hell and threw on the exhaust)
