Default Pulling engine - Need help

I am about to pull out my old 3.8l with about 120k on it and put in a fully rebuilt 3.8.. I am wondering what exactly you guys would suggest I disassemble before ripping the old one out. Should I pull out the MANUAL not autotranny along with the engine? or leave it right where it is? Any suggestions are appreciated.

I would leave the tranny in if your not going to replace it cause youll have to take off the drive shaft and undo the transmission, your better off just taking the engine out and unbolting it form the transmission, but that is the way i would do it but whatever easy for you.hopes
