For thirty bucks, it will lose it's shine more than likely. I've heard parts of the chrome can chip off into the Intake and take them to places where you don't want to have paint chips. You can install it yourself..free of charge.

mine works great also. and there is no way a piece of chrome would chip off and go into your engine....there is no chrome on the inside of the pipe. it also probably wont lose its shine hardly at all. mine looks great and ive also had mine for over a year. it is a bomz racing cai from ebay. i think it was like $50 go for it man...oh unless you have emissions in your state. then it isnt emissions legal but if you want you can always buy it then when it comes time to test your car put the old intake back on for that day.

How did you get the O2 sensor in the Ebay one? I bought one of those cheap ones and it did not have a place to screw the O2 sensor into the pipe. It had what looked like two points with rubber grommets that fit vacuum service only. I've seen people discuss using the Ebay ones but I couldn't get the one I bought from Ebay to work and there was no way to thread the 2nd hole to fit the O2 sensor.
