Default sound diffrence

anyone know how big the sound diffrence is between an h pipe with cats and no cats, tryin to figure out what to do and due to emissions in NY i have to have cats so is it a big enough diffrence to unbolt the whole thing when i go for the test or am i just better off going with the catted mid-pipe and saving the hassle?

why would you waste time when you need to have them to take them out? just get high flows if you are worried. plus an h-pipe is not needed.

I'm in the same boat man, We had emissions a few years ago, and I'm afraid they might come back out if I get a system with no cats

Just roll with the cats, they're not gonna kill you, you definately won't be able to feel the difference, and you won't have to worry about the hassle. Do you honestly want to bother with cops and emissions bs all the time?
